Elementary Greek 1 – Summer 2019 Course

Beginning May 28, we will offer Elementary Greek 1. As an entry-level course, prior knowledge of Greek is not required. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to read the New Testament in its original language. If you are interested in registering, please see below for more information.

Course Details
Every Tuesday, 6pm-8pm. The class begins May 28 and will end August 13. 

Location: First Baptist Church, McLoud (109 S. 8th St. McLoud, OK 74851). The class will also be live-streamed for those who cannot physically join the class. 

Cost: Free. However, students will need to purchase the required textbooks (see below). 

Required Textbooks: 

1. Basics of Biblical Greek (3rd edition) by William D. Mounce. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2010.

2. Basics of Biblical Greek Workbook (3rd edition) by William D. Mounce. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2010.

3. A Reader’s Greek New Testament (2nd edition). Edited by Richard J. Goodrich & Albert L. Lukaszewski. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2007.


Who can register? Anyone with a desire to learn to read the New Testament in its original language!

Will I get college-level credit for this course? No. However, students who are homeschooled may want to use this course to fulfill a high school elective or language requirement (if applicable).
